The sofa is named after Gaudí’s assistant and collaborator, Josep Maria Jujol. An early pioneer of recycling, he was an expert in techniques such as stucco and ironwork. Among other achievements, Jujol was the creative force behind most of the ornamentation in Park Güell in Barcelona.
